宿舍在學期初有檢查，以下是列出的違禁品，我想多用於防火災吧。火災警報時真的要出去，有看過一堆人待在外面，還披著浴袍XD
Health and Safety Issues
1. For your own safety ANY electrical equipment with exposed or insecure wiring will be removed immediately;
2. No plug adapters (multiple or single) or extension leads (with single or multiple outlets) are allowed in any kitchen;
3. You are not allowed to provide your own additional white goods for fitting into your kitchen (fridge, freezer, cooker, washing machine);
4. All personal electrical equipment kitchens and bedrooms (irons, hair driers, hair stylers) WILL be British Standard or CE kite-marked and WILL be fitted with a fused (maximum 13A fuse rating) plug compliant with BS1363;
5. Your personal electronic equipment (computer, tablet, phone, mp3 player, camera) does not need to British Standard or CE kite-marked although we recommend that it should be;
6. All personal electronic equipment that needs an adaptor to convert to a three pin plug must use a BS 1363-3 adaptor that is fused and which does not have any significant risk of personal contact with the live circuit when in use;
7. Any multiple block adaptors that are not BS standard must not be used and may be confiscated; you are not allowed to use any electrical kitchen equipment in your bedroom, including kettles; please see the Halls Regulations, section A2.5, for information on what items should not be found in your rooms.
8. You are not allowed to supply additional electrical heating or cooling facilities in your bedroom.
9. You may choose to have some atmospheric or seasonal lighting in your room which is allowed provided they are battery operated and the cables secured out of the way.
The following are guidelines – we recommend that you follow them for your own personal safety
· All your personal equipment, if more than 12 months old, should be PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTED (PAT). For more information about electrical safety and PAT testing go to http://www.hse.gov.uk/
